My Honest Review of Invideo AI: Can It Generate Great Videos?

 

More recently, I have been afforded the opportunity to explore Invideo AI, an AI-driven video creation platform fast rising in the content creation space. Being the person I am, who seeks to have everything easy with regards to work, I just had to see what it could offer.

The first thing that struck me with this platform was its simplicity. The user interface is clean and intuitive, hence perfect for a complete beginner. The possibility of creating unlimited HD videos is definitely an added asset.

Where Invideo AI does stand out, however, is in the video generator. You're allowed to insert any topic or description, and then let the AI do your work with the creation of the video. I used a custom GPT prompt for my test, and while the results weren't bad, with mistakes here and there and questionable voice-over quality, with due respect, this is what I found with most AI-based applications.

The built-in video editor also deserves praise: user-friendly, it allows you to tweak the videos by editing scripts, adding media, or adjusting clip durations. On the other hand, I would have appreciated the possibility of adding background music, which could really make a difference in this platform.

InVideo has six prebuilt workflows for specific video formats, such as YouTube Shorts and TikTok. This will be most helpful for a complete novice, as it provides structured guidance for creating prompts.

Another useful feature is the media library that helps to systematize images and videos for reuse in the future. This is a great functionality for adding a personal touch and ensuring uniqueness in your videos.

Invideo AI offers three pricing tiers: Free, Plus, and Max. The Free tier allows exports of up to 10 minutes of video per month, with watermarks. The Plus tier costs $25 per month, while the Max tier is $60 per month; both offer full HD exports with no watermarks. It's worth noting that non-paying users' prompts may be used to train Invideo's AI model, raising potential data privacy concerns.

Overall, Invideo AI is a good platform to create videos fast and straightforwardly. The quality of the output is pretty good, but it may not be the best fit for those who require advanced features or bulk video production.
